Food for the Brain

Approach 08

What you eat plays a vital role in brainstars relationships (upstairs & downstairs). In fact, our mental health is created or influenced by the brain. What the brain gets as input (in this case: food) influences our mental health or mood. The consumption of excess fatty food reduces the production of neuron transmitters; excess sugar leads to depression and weakening of muscles, junk foods lead to stress and tension. Transfat and saturated fat lead to low energy levels and low refreshments. Ideal foods include fruits, whole grains, protein, etc.

What we eat influences our mood. The psychologist analyses the subject's lifestyle, understands the drawbacks in their current diet and corrects it by providing ideal food for the brain - a scientific approach. The diet recommended by the psychologist is decided considering the subject’s age and health.

Note: We recommend you to schedule an appointment or call us before hospital/clinic visit or for online treatment. This will avoid unnecessary waiting (few sessions take 1.5 hours) when our psychologist is consulting with a prebooked client.

It’s the sole discretion of the consulting psychologist to decide if you need Food for the Brain diet or any other therapy. What treatment needs to be carried out is decided at the end of the first consultation. During the first consultation, the psychologist will talk with you for 1 - 1.5 hours. The psychologist will analyse and try to understand the cause of the psychological or mental illness. The psychological diagnosis is explained to you at the end of the consultation time. A remedy or treatment or therapy (which, of course, includes the coping mechanisms) shall be discussed with you. If any sessions are required, the psychologist will explain to you and what you can expect from it.
